New Skirt Burda Style 01-2012-104

I rather like my new skirt. It is a little shorter than the magazine version, as I was salvaging another failed skirt project and my fabric remnants were not long enough to make the skirt the intended length. I think it is just as well as I am short, and this length is probably better for me anyway.

  This fabric is a stretch cotton sateen, so it is really comfortable.

 

From the back there is a pretty obvious smile, which must be some kind of fitting issue. Unfortunately I have no idea what to do about it. It is really okay though since I don't have to look at the back other than this picture :o) 

Now for a gratuitous collection of photos in which Catums and I practice our modeling. Based on these pics it is pretty clear that we need the practice.
